Tess Redburn
Tess is a cultural strategist and researcher with 10 years of experience working across the cultural and creative industries. At The Place Bureau, Tess has focused on futures, developing long-term future visions, cultural strategies and destination brands around the world for destinations as diverse as Snaefellsnes Regional Park (Iceland), The Crown Estate (Haymarket, London), National Museums Liverpool. She has also worked on research publications ‘Civic Futures’ and ‘Natural Futures’ and co-developed studios Collaborative Place Futures Toolkit. Her work focuses on researching places, cultural groups and future trends and drawing out the unexpected themes and insights that shed light on people’s connections to the built environment.
She holds an MA in Brands, Communication and Culture from Goldsmiths. Tess is also an associate lecturer at Bath Spa University teaching Graphic Communication for Culture and a practising artist and designer.
